ive used a few of those....

Downloadthemall was ok, FasterFox did not have any noticeable difference (but was using extra bandwidth)...

btw I know you are more of a programmer then a web dev, but Firebug is great.... I also could not live without greasemonkey (lets you run JS on sites (DOM) and has GM_xmlhttpRequest). So with GS I can basicly edit anything on this site, I can even have it dynamicly go to other pages/sites to get info (included databases).

and finally, if you dont use it, I highly recoomend NoScript. It's a small pain to allow the sites you thrust at first, but overall its very good... Has already saved me from a virus on a big usa/canadian e-retail site (NCIX). And it saves you from the infinite looping msgbox/input boxes.
